News and Announcements

  • Welcome to our new writing instructors, Brittany, Grete, and Meagan, who are taking appointments on our Graduate Coursework Schedule.
  • Each October, Walden celebrates the Global Days of Service to showcase the university community’s commitment to positive social change. One small way the Writing Center’s writing instructor team demonstrates positive social change is by recognizing students’ preferred names and their pronouns. We have updated the myPASS registration and profile form to include this optional information, and we’ve also updated the list of current programs. So, it’s a great time to revisit and update your profile (in the “Update Profile & E-Mail Options” section, which appears under your name on the scheduling page)! Note: If you do make changes to your profile, you will also be prompted to save a myPASS password of at least 10 characters.

  • Not sure which steps you should take next to improve your scholarly writing? Our new goal plan pilot supports students’ writing goals through guaranteed access to four paper review appointments with the same Writing Center instructor. You’ll receive individualized feedback and resources designed to maximize progress. To enroll, complete this module and use the submission form at the end to join the pilot. We hope to see you soon! Note: The goal plan pilot is available to students using the Undergraduate Coursework Schedule and the Graduate Coursework Schedule.
